What Does Managed IT Cost in Perth?
From $140 per user or computer a month. No hourly billing, no hidden onsite fees, no fine-print exclusions.
Managed IT pricing for Perth businesses
One fixed monthly fee. No surprises.
Perigon One’s managed IT starts from $140 per user or computer a month, plus a $250 site fee per location, all prices excluding GST. That covers unlimited remote and onsite support across Perth metro, with no hourly billing, no hidden onsite fees and no fine-print exclusions. For $170 per user, the agreement also includes a monthly allowance of project hours for compliance and improvement work. Whether you call it managed IT, IT support, an MSP or an outsourced IT department, this is what it costs with us.
Where several people share computers, such as training organisations, not-for-profits and multi-user sites, we price per workstation instead of per user. Above 100 users per company or location, volume pricing applies.
Most of our clients are Western Australian businesses with 10 to 250 computers. We reconcile your licences and workstations every month, so you only pay for what you have. Numbers go up and down with your team, there is no onboarding fee, no lock-in contract and no exit fee, and your rate is fixed for the first year, then moves with CPI.
How Our Pricing Works
1. IT Management, $140
Per user, per month.
Your outsourced IT department. Unlimited remote and onsite support across Perth metro, someone on call 24/7 for critical issues, a help desk from 6am to 5pm Perth time with a 15 minute average first response, a senior engineer if it is not fixed in the first half hour, a Technical Account Manager who works as your IT manager, monthly reporting, licence reconciliation, onboarding and offboarding, and vendor management.
2. IT Management including Project Hours, $170
Per user, per month.
Everything in IT Management, plus an Included Project Hours Allowance every month, calculated at 25% of your supported users: 40 users gives you 10 hours a month. Use it for compliance work such as Essential Eight, and for projects. Unused hours carry forward.
3. Site Fee, $250
Per physical site, per month.
A site is each connected location, such as an office, warehouse, workshop or project site, with its own internet connection and equipment and usually several staff. People working from home are not counted as a site.
4. At Cost, No Margin
So you only pay for what you need.
Microsoft 365 licences and our standard security bundle (monitoring, antivirus, EDR, 24/7 managed SOC, ransomware detection, Microsoft 365 backup and dark-web monitoring) are passed through at cost. Licences and workstations are reconciled every month, so you only pay for what you have. Hardware is quoted before purchase and set up at no charge. Projects beyond your allowance are fixed-priced before they start.

Worked Example: the Same Business, Both Options
40 staff across two sites, excluding GST.
IT Management: 40 users at $140 is $5,600, plus two site fees of $250, so $6,100 a month. Projects are quoted and approved one at a time.
IT Management including Project Hours: 40 users at $170 is $6,800, plus two site fees of $250, so $7,300 a month, including 10 hours of project and compliance work every month, 120 hours a year.
Why some businesses prefer project hours included: many have a list of projects they want done over the next two or three years, and would rather we work through them steadily, a little each month, than scope and approve each one separately. Project hours inside a managed service agreement also cost less than the same hours quoted as a one-off project. Unused hours carry forward, and your IT spend stays one predictable number for the year.
Why others prefer projects quoted separately: a lower monthly fee suits a business that only has the occasional project, and every project is still fully scoped and fixed-priced before we start. Every business works differently, which is why we offer both.
Licences and hardware are extra in both. For your own numbers, use our IT cost calculator.

Our Service Guarantee
Our average first response is 15 minutes. We also guarantee our response times, and back them with a credit on your fee.
| Priority | Example | Guaranteed response |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | A site offline, a security incident, Microsoft 365 down | 1 hour, 24/7 |
| High | Internet down but staff can work, a key device dead with no spare | 2 hours |
| Medium | One person unable to work | 4 hours |
| Low | A how-do-I question, a program install | 8 hours |
What counts as a response: an engineer has been assigned to your job and has started working on it. An automated email saying we received your ticket does not count.
How the guarantee works: we measure every month against a target of 95% of Critical and High priority tickets responded to within the guaranteed time, and report the result to you. If we fall below 95% in a month, you receive a credit of 5% of that month’s managed service fee. Below 90%, the credit is 10%, capped at 15% a month. Sustained underperformance gives you the right to end the agreement without penalty. No client has ever needed to claim a credit. It is there so you know there are real consequences if we do not meet our service levels.
How We Compare With Other Providers
Read the fine print before you sign.
A low monthly price is easy to advertise. What matters is what the agreement actually commits the provider to, and what it lets them charge on top. These are the things we see most often when businesses bring us their current IT contract.
| What to check | Other providers | Perigon One |
|---|---|---|
| Response times | Response times vary greatly between providers. Many measure them in business days, and we have seen agreements that give the provider up to two weeks to respond. | An average first response of 15 minutes, and a guaranteed response of 1 hour, 24/7, for critical issues, backed by a credit on your fee |
| If they miss it | Often nothing. Many agreements set service levels with no consequence for the provider when they are missed. | A credit on your monthly fee, and the right to end the agreement if it keeps happening. No client has ever needed to claim one |
| What counts as a response | Often an automated email acknowledging the ticket, so the clock stops before anyone has looked at your problem. | An engineer assigned to your job and actively working on it |
| Who you deal with | A ticket queue, a different technician every time you call and different people coming out, with no one who knows your business. | A Technical Account Manager who works as your IT manager: a senior Level 2 and 3 engineer who looks after only five to ten clients and knows your business inside out. They come onsite when something needs escalating and for your regular meetings, in person or on Teams. Day-to-day visits are done by the same one or two dedicated onsite engineers, who know your people and where everything is |
| Onsite visits | Call-out, travel and per-visit fees, so every trip to your office is a new invoice. | Unlimited onsite across Perth metro, included, plus regular scheduled visits to remote sites, mine sites included |
| After hours | Penalty rates for anything outside business hours, even when it is their system that failed. | Someone always on call. Critical after-hours work is included, and so is other reasonable after-hours work we can fit in |
| Getting started | Setup and onboarding fees, often thousands of dollars before any support starts. | No onboarding fee |
| Contract length | Three to five year terms, minimum user numbers and exit fees. | No lock-in contract, no locked-in user numbers, no exit fee |
| Licences | A margin added to Microsoft and security licences, and users you no longer have still on the bill. | Microsoft licences and the security bundle provided at cost, reconciled every month |
| Projects | Billed by the hour with no cap, so you only find out what a project cost once the work is done. | Depending on your arrangement, either a project hours allowance already included in your monthly fee, or every project fully scoped and fixed-priced before we start |
| Leaving | Handover fees, and your documentation and passwords held until the bill is paid. | Your documentation available to you at any time, and handed over in full at no charge. Not that anyone ever leaves |
Our fixed fee means we only do well when your IT runs smoothly. Bring us your current agreement and we will go through it with you, line by line, at no charge.

Response times vary greatly between providers. Many agreements give the provider days, sometimes weeks, to respond, count an automated email as a response, charge extra for onsite visits and after-hours work, add a margin to licences and lock you in for years. We average a 15 minute first response, guarantee 1 hour for critical issues 24/7, give you a Technical Account Manager who works as your IT manager, include onsite and critical after-hours work, pass licences through at cost and have no lock-in contract. See the comparison table above.
One number for everything technology, including phones, internet, printers and your software vendors; phishing simulation and security awareness training for every user; staff access removed the same hour they leave; a monthly report and review with your Technical Account Manager, plus a quarterly strategy review and an annual IT roadmap and budget; and your documentation in a system you can read at any time.

Below 95%, you receive a credit of 5% of that month’s managed service fee; below 90%, 10%, capped at 15% a month. Sustained underperformance gives you the right to end the agreement without penalty. No client has ever needed to claim a credit. It is there so you know there are real consequences if we do not meet our service levels.
