Microsoft’s browser takes back the Edge with streamlined settings

If you’ve ever tried to adjust a setting in Microsoft Edge and ended up lost among numerous options, this update is for you.

Microsoft is streamlining the Settings page, so you’ll no longer need to search through endless menus to find what you need.

What’s changing?

A new quick access panel will appear under the main Settings menu, offering shortcuts to the features you’re likely to use most often.

Settings will also be organised into smaller submenus, like “System and Performance” and “Appearance”, making it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Even better, these submenus will have their own quick access shortcuts too.

These improvements aim to challenge Google Chrome, known for its well-organised settings. If your team hasn’t adopted Edge as their default browser yet, now’s a great time to reconsider.

Microsoft is currently testing this update, with a broader rollout expected soon. When it arrives, you can look forward to smoother navigation.
